A classic Amsterdam building deserves a classic typeface.
For Brickstone, we designed the investment memorandum for the Immanuël at Kerkstraat 342–344 in the heart of Amsterdam. Built in 1911 by architect C. de Groot as a church, it became a municipal monument in 2007 and is now an inspiring office building.
Beyond the design, we also shot the exterior photography. The interior photography was supplied.

Stained glass, wooden floors, decorative beams and a grand two-storey main hall: the Immanuël is a classic building, and we wanted the memorandum to feel the same. So we chose a classic serif typeface, set with generous spacing and plenty of white space.
A warm, muted palette and a quiet grid let the building’s history lead, while clean sans-serif details keep it clear and contemporary, just like the steel and glass inside.
